Where did the summer go?!???

I moved schools which entails tons of cleaning, sorting, and new decorating ideas!This was 90% of my summer and of course a few in-services along the way.

Here is my "New to Me Home Away from Home":

We also went on a huge family trip to Kauai Hawaii. 

It was amazing and the entire trip flew by. We did everything from hiking a trail that is a 9/10 difficulty level and swimming in the Queens Bath to Shave Ice and Ziplining for over 1/2 mile. It was a trip I will never forget.





Now on to teaching which is so different for me this year. I was seeing each grade level for one 6 weeks everyday and then never again and now I am on the 8 day color rotation which most of you know so well. My internal clock has been on the previous schedule for 18 years so as you can guess I am having a little difficulty. I have taken first grade out into the hallway twice this week thinking class was over and we still had 10 more minutes. Oh well! The positivism from the teachers and students make all of the other worth while.
